Mitch de Mestre

Ba.App.Sc (Physiotherapy)

Mitch takes an enthusiastic approach to work and life in general.  He enjoys all facets of Physiotherapy stating that “correct diagnosis is the key to successful treatment”.  Mitch is particularly interested in injuries of the “bigger joints” – knees, ankles and shoulders.  He has worked extensively with AFL and rugby teams in the past developing excellent skills in acute care and management of sporting injuries.  Mitch is currently looking around for anyone with cycling injuries.  He says cycling injuries are often more complex than most people think requiring specific cycling knowledge to fully understand and overcome.  By utilising a combination of manual therapy and exercise prescription Mitch guides his clients back to full fitness, work or better health.

Away from the MGS clinic Mitch spends a lot of time on his mountain bike or his road bike.  He even looks a bit like Lance Armstrong would look like if Lance could smile.  Mitch says that his favourite thing to do it hanging out with his wife Jade.  He also loves spending time with his nieces and nephews.  We think this is excellent practice for him.

Mitch can be found at Mona Vale and Manly MGS
